The House in the Wild is situated in a unique location, each perched on the banks of the Mara River, tucked away within the award winning Enonkishu Conservancy on the edge of the Maasai Mara.

Since 2012, the land surrounding the House in the Wild Collection, once intensively farmed, has been devoted to a pioneering rewilding project. Using grazing animals as the drivers of habitat creation, and with the restoration of dynamic, natural water courses, the project has seen extraordinary increases in wildlife.

Part of the daily rate includes a conservation fee that goes towards the Enonkishu Conservancy, an innovative conservation initiative that is committed to sustainable rangeland management that allows space and resources for all people, cattle, and wildlife..

In this special part of the Mara, the Wood family have created beautiful spaces that are both stylish and comfortable and guests are able to enjoy one of the world’s most biodiverse landscapes in this unique setting,
